So much progress has been made in many areas for inclusion of people with disabilities. The performing arts is one area that has just begun to be realized as a critical component in nurturing the development of people with disabilities on all levels. We are in need of a state of the art facility to accommodate all people in order to facilitate the many kinds of learning and life enhancement that occurs with participation in the arts. There are no theaters in the Kansas City metro area that have all areas of the facility completely accessible to people with disabilities.

We want to be a training facility for every aspect of theater production from support jobs to the actual performance. This training will help people to learn skills that will enable them to get jobs in many different fields. Every job requires good communication skills. Performing arts is all about communication.
